Novice Craps Strategy
Craps can seem like a complicated game, and novices to the casinos may be tempted to try something simpler, like slots. However, a good craps strategy can give you a quick edge with little to no experience. The best craps strategy requires only two bets.
Pass Line Bet
For a strong craps strategy, play every game with the Pass Line bet. This bet wins on a 7 or 11 on the come out roll. It also wins if a point is rolled in the come out roll and rolled again before the shooter rolls a 7. The Pass Line bet has a house edge of 1.41%. For a slightly lower house edge, you can also try the Dont Pass Line bet which is the exact opposite of the Pass Line bet with a house edge of 1.36%.
Take the Odds
To round out this excellent free craps strategy, you should take the odds following each point roll. If you are playing the Dont Pass Line, this is called laying the odds. This bet has no house edge and increases your potential winnings. With a 6 or 8, your odds are 6-5, with a 5 or 9 the odds are 3-2, and a 4 or 10 has odds of 2-1. Bet as much as youre comfortable with when you take the odds.
The best craps strategies are highly debated, but this craps strategy is sure to give you a strong start in the game. You can join the game easily without studying all the complex craps bets available, and youll stand a good chance of winning big.
